This is Zaknafein! I've been thinking about this character for some time and I decided it's time that I drew him. :) He didn't come out as dark as I had hoped with the amount of graphite I used, but I think I can go back and play with it a bit. Usually, I have no trouble finding references for my shading, but this time, I had a really hard time finding one because it's for a profile! (You'd think with the endless supply of info on the world wide web that I'd be able to find something! Yeesh! :faint:) Well anyway, hope you all enjoy him!

Wow, wonderful work! I think this is one of your best ones yet! The shading is just excellent and I love the mournful look on his face, that's so Zak. lol. :clap:

Thank you! :hug: I had so much trouble finding references for the shading on him. I'm pretty surprised at how good he turned out. I don't know why but I felt the need to draw him. Once I started, I couldn't stop either. I finished him in about 4 hours. Do you think he looks drow enough?

Oh, he looks very drow. Ya, reference pictures are very handy. You should try looking around here on DA, there is a lot of wonderful stock photos on here and I know they have helped me a lot. :D

Cool! I was worried he didn't. :hug: I did look here, but I guess I wasn't looking in the right areas. Do you have any suggestions for where I can find some helpful stock photos here on DA? :pray:

Wow, sorry for the late response as I have been away. For stock pics I would suggest :iconfantasystock:. She has some amazing pics and I personally have used quite a few of her pics for reference (with the correct credit given of course). Just keep looking around, there are so many wonderful stockers out there that it would be nearly impossible to find them all.
